"Attack on Titan" fans will now have something to get excited about as their favorite manga and anime story will soon be taken to mobile platforms.
Funimation Entertainment will collaborate with GameSamba, NGames Interactive Limited, along with Kodansha to develop an official mobile app game of "Attack on Titan" for Android and iOS software in the last quarter of this year. The game will be based on the highly popular manga series and will be available in all English markets.

Funimation Entertainment CEO and founder, Gen Fukunaga, has expressed his excitement towards the new project.
"We're very excited to work with NGames and GameSamba to create a game based on the wildly popular 'Attack on Titan' franchise," said the Japanese-American entrepreneur in a statement. "With more than 50 million copies of the manga in print, a 25 episode anime series, and last year's live action films, we're excited to show fans what we can do with a game."
GameSamba is one of the leading mobile games developers and publishers, which has several studios around the world. On the other hand, NGames Interactive Limited is also one of the best in the industry with years of experience in online and mobile games development.
It is quite obvious that the upcoming mobile game will be a hit once it hits the market judging by the series' popularity. The "Attack on Titan" mobile game will be full of action as the developer and the publisher will make sure it will represent the kind of excitement the anime series has offered to the fans for a long time.
The success of the new "Attack on Titan" PC game is likely one of the driving forces why GameSamba, NGames Interactive Limited and Funimation Entertainment have decided to put so much weight behind creating another version of the game for mobile phone users.
