Google’s mapping services are available right from the search bar, and can be used to find your lost Android phone.
Searching “restaurants near me” or “petrol stations near me” will bring up a list of nearby locations, along with a map that shows you where they are.
Similarly, you can access some of the features of Google’s Android Device Manager by typing “where is my phone” or “find my phone” in the search bar.
This will bring up the last known location of your device, and let you ring your phone to help you track it down – even if you set it to silent.
To remotely lock or erase your device, you will have to visit the Android Device Manager.
